Microshading / Microblading Contraindications
Who is NOT recommended for Microblading / Microshading?
- Clients with LITTLE to NO BROW hair. (Microshading Only)
- Oily Skin or Large Pores. (Microshading Only) fades faster, needs multiple sessions to get desired look.
- Under the age 18 years old
- Medication under Blood Thinner: Coumadin – Amount of bleeding and response to topical epinephrine will determine coverage per appointment. If excessive bleeding occurs extra appointment may be necessary for desired outcome or procedure may not be effective.
- Cancers/Chemotherapy: Doctors clearance may be necessary.
- Injectables / Fillers: Get permanent makeup first or ask your doctor for clearance.
- Shingles: If you have shingles on your face wait sever month to get permanent makeup.
- Pregnant & Lactating Women
- Diabetes
- Serious Health Problems
- Skin Lesions, Psoriasis, Eczema and diagnosed rashes or blisters on the site to be treated.
- People with allergies to makeup or colors.
- Those with easily triggered post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation are not good candidates.
- Those with transmittable blood conditions like HIV, or Hepatitis.
- Are a hemophiliac
- Have healing disorders, on blood thinners, uncontrolled high blood pressure or had mitral valve disorder.
- Epilepsy
- Botox within two weeks prior to treatment
- Organ Transplant
- Tendency to “Keloid” or scarring
- Accutane the past year, those on any skin medication which thin and over sensitive to skin.
- Viral Infections or Diseases
- Flu, Cold
- Chemotherapy
- Contraindications for Microblading Procedure

Microblading Contraindications Additional
- AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic and tartaric acids) or any OTC creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, exfoliating, fading can discolor your permanent makeup.
- Flu or Cold: Please stay at home and reschedule your appointment if you have Flu or Cold or Sinus or Respiratory infection.
